On November 23, 2012, the University of Ottawa Heart Institute performed its 500^th heart transplant, less than 24 hours after numbers 498 and 499. Each heart transplant is a life-changing gift for the recipient and a moment for celebration in itself. Join us as we celebrate this major milestone.
