Newly recruited scientist to investigate unexplored cardiac risk factors

The University of Ottawa Heart Institute (UOHI) is proud to welcome Jodi Edwards, PhD, as scientist and director of the Brain and Heart Nexus Research Program.

Dr. Edwards hails from Sunnybrook Research Institute in Toronto where she was a postdoctoral fellow with Dr. Sandra Black in the Heart and Stroke Foundation Canadian Partnership for Stroke Recovery.
