This Mother’s Day, hospitals in Ottawa are working to ensure that families and loved ones will still be able to share messages of love and support with the mothers in their lives while maintaining visitor restrictions.
Mother's Day gifts are welcome at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. Those who wish to give a gift to a patient must first contact the manager of the unit where the patient is located at 613-696-7000 to confirm what items are acceptable. Gifts can then be dropped off at the front entrance (40 Ruskin Street) in a bag labelled with the loved one's name.
