The University of Ottawa Heart Institute (UOHI) on behalf of the Ottawa Heart Institute Research Corporation is issuing this statement in relation to a grant awarded to one of its researchers from the FTX Philanthropy Inc. After FTX Trading Ltd. and its affiliates (together, the FTX Debtors) filed for bankruptcy, the UOHI has been working actively to return the funds to the FTX Debtors and has every intention to return the entirety of the grant.
