We provide accessible education, programs, and services focused on preventing cardiovascular disease and managing risk factors. Whether you’re a patient, caregiver, or community member, our resources are here to support you on your journey to better health.
The PWC is home to the Canadian Women’s Heart Health Centre provides leadership in the development, implementation and evaluation of cardiovascular disease prevention and management strategies to improve women’s cardiovascular health in an effort to reduce sex disparities in the identification, treatment and outcomes of cardiovascular disease in women.
PWC activities are based on the following core values:

The central purpose and role of the Division of Prevention and Rehabilitation is to:
Develop, deliver, coordinate, administer, and evaluate scientifically based cardiovascular disease prevention and management programs/services to meet the needs of patients, health care professionals, and the public.
