Congratulations, Dr. Rob Beanlands
The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and its Institute of Circulatory and Respiratory Health (ICRH), in partnership with the Canadian Cardiovascular Society, has named Dr. Rob Beanlands, Vered Chair and Division Head of Cardiology at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, the recipient of the 2019 Distinguished Lecturer Award in Cardiovascular Sciences. The Distinguished Lecturer Award Series honours outstanding investigators within the circulatory and respiratory health scientific research community who have contributed significantly to the advancement of science in their field, both in Canada and internationally.
