The University of Ottawa Heart Institute is growing our world class research team, and actively seeking recruitment of high-caliber Postdoctoral Fellows and research-intensive Clinical Fellows.
The University of Ottawa Heart Institute is one of Canada's most distinguished cardiovascular health centres. The Institute leads in world-renowned research and excellent cardiovascular care. Our research is seamlessly integrated with clinical care to effectively translate scientific excellence from "bench to the bedside". We are globally recognized for our genetics and molecular mechanisms research, multi-model imaging research, and clinical and population health research. Our researchers publish in top-notch journals including Science, Nature, the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, and the New England Journal of Medicine.
Located in Canada's capital, our research enterprise is guided by the Institute's Ottawa Region for Advanced Cardiovascular Research Excellence (ORACLE) Strategy. We leverage the excellent resources and interdisciplinary expertise in the region and collaborate globally. Along with our affiliated University of Ottawa, our Institute serves as the regional hub of scientific excellence in cardiovascular research.
We wish to recruit exceptional Postdoctoral Fellows and research-intensive Clinical Fellows to work with our research teams in the following priority areas:

- Big Data and Artificial Intelligence and
- Healthy Diverse Populations.
