The Canadian Anesthesiologists’ Society (CAS) has honoured Dr. Mark Hynes of the University of Ottawa Heart Institute (UOHI) with an award in recognition of his excellence in the clinical teaching of anesthesia.
The CAS Honour Awards Program celebrates the diverse representation of anesthesiologists across Canada and their achievements. The CAS’s Clinical Teacher Award is given to an active member of CAS who has made a significant contribution to the teaching of anesthesia in Canada.
The honour was awarded to Dr. Hynes during the CAS annual meeting held in Victoria, B.C. earlier in June.
