Heart Institute Scientist Honoured with 2019 Daniel Steinberg Early Career Investigator Award

Congratulations Katey Rayner, PhD

Scientist and Director of the Cardiometabolic microRNA Laboratory at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, Katey Rayner, PhD, has been awarded  the 2019 Daniel Steinberg Early Career Investigator Award in Atherosclerosis/Lipoproteins from the American Heart Association, an honour recognizing her outstanding research published in 2018 in the Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology (ATVB) Journal.

Rayner's article is titled, "Extracellular Vesicles Secreted by Atherogenic Macrophages Transfer MicroRNA to Inhibit Cell Migration."
