The University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine (FoM) bestowed three Heart Institute staff with Faculty Member Awards of Excellence in recognition of the importance and exceptional characteristics of their work.
- Emilio Alarcon, PhD is the FoM’s Biomedical Researcher of the Year.
- Thais Coutinho, MD is the FoM’s Clinical Early Career Researcher of the Year.
- Michel Le May, MD, BSc received the honour for Clinical Publication of the Year.
Awards were presented Saturday, October 1 at the FoM Awards and Recognition Gala held at the Shaw Centre.
