OTTAWA, June 5, 2024 – Medical practitioners and researchers from across Canada will gather in Ottawa next week to discuss the latest in brain-heart science, cardiovascular medicine, data science, and patient-centred cardiac rehabilitation.
The inaugural Brain-Heart Interconnectome (BHI) State-of-the-Science Summit, the Toronto-Ottawa Heart Summit, and the 9th Annual Canadian Association of Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation (CACPR) Spring Conference will run concurrently between June 12-15, all three taking place at the National Arts Centre (1 Elgin Street) in Ottawa.

The inaugural BHI State-of-the-Science Summit is an international conference highlighting the latest science at the crossroads of brain and heart health, showcasing innovation and state-of-the-art research.

Dates: June 13 to June 15
The Toronto-Ottawa Heart Summit is a unique meeting in Canada. The two-day format allows for primary care physicians, cardiovascular specialists, clinical-investigators and basic scientists to meet face-to-face to promote the translation of evidence from the bench to bedside to populations.

Dates: June 13 to June 15
The CACPR is a national body comprised of interdisciplinary health professionals focused on enhancing knowledge and clinical care, as well as enabling research for those who work in cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation. The theme of this year’s spring conference is "Embracing Complexities to Improve Patient-Centred Cardiac Rehabilitation Care."
