Dr. Andrew Pipe joins anti-doping commission for 2022 Commonwealth Games

The Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) Executive Board has confirmed Dr. Andrew Pipe of the University of Ottawa Heart Institute for its Anti-Doping and Medical Commission along with six other members from across the Commonwealth.

In a statement shared on the CGF website, Anti-Doping and Medical Commission Chair Dr. Peter Harcourt said, “These are exciting times as we will not only be overseeing the anti-doping and medical services required for the Games but also be setting a long-term strategy and developing policy through our collective knowledge and expertise to help the CGF fulfil its vision and mission.”

Dr. Pipe will serve a two-year term through to the CGF General Assembly in 2023.
