This presentation will discuss the ways in which inflammation underpins disease pathology in many cardiovascular diseases and emerging opportunities targeting inflammation for treatment. It will also discuss how understanding inflammation in one organ can help us prevent long-term diseases elsewhere in the body, including the heart.
