Dr. Christopher Glover is an Interventional Cardiologist and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory in the Division of Cardiology , Department of Medicine, at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. He is Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Ottawa.

Background

Dr. Glover earned his MD and performed residencies in Internal Medicine at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, and in Cardiology at the Heart Institute. He performed his fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the Heart Institute.

Dr. Glover sits on several committees, among them the Examination Board for Cardiology and the Specialty Committee in Cardiology, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC).

He is the Principal Investigator of one study and a Co-Investigator in eight studies.

Research and clinical interests

Dr. Glover's interests include interventional cardiology for the treatment of acute myocardial infarction, stem cell therapy for cardiac diseases, acute coronary syndrome therapy and ethanol ablation for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
